So, as of right now I am over halfway through the Rissho University Roommate program.

My absolutely freaking cute roomie Haruka is bubbly, energetic, and loves girl talk. I am sad Hiroko was sick and couldn't join us, but Haruka is so sunshiney it's hard to be disappointed with just one.

There are 24 students in all, and if you're friends with me on facebook there are tons of pictures of us doing crazy stuff. If I get some good pics they might go up here, but so far all the ones of cute little Japanese girls are candid-type stuff.

I shouldn't say little girls... they're all like- 20ish. But they look like they're in high school. Seriously.

The guys are all sweet (and... ahem... good looking XD) 4 of the guys are growing little gruffy beards because I asked them too! Lol. Tetsuya used to have one and shaved it a couple days after arrival. I told him it made me sad so he said he'd grow it out... then I asked Waka and he said he would too... and so on from there. XD The only one who flat out said no was Sho-chan, but he was so cute about it:

Sho-Chan: "Uh... sorry Caitrine, but I do not like *hand gesture on chin to imitate beard growth*"
Me: "Awwww, thassokay! I forgive you!!!!"

He's such a dorky little cutie pie with his emo glasses and old guy haircut. X-3

Anyway, I'm having so much fun. I'm going to cry so hard when it's time for them to leave. I hope I can stay in touch with as many of them as I can. Although... it will be nice to be able to get more than 5 hours of sleep a night- I think I'm getting sick.
